A 4th wild bird has been confirmed positive for H5N8 – a Whooper swan in Gortermone, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim found on 19 January.

A 5th outbreak has been confirmed in GB – in a flock of 10,000 pheasants in Pilling, near Preston, Lancashire. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/avian-flu-confirmed-at-a-farm-in-preston-lancashire.
No pheasant have imported since Sept 2016.
