Early opening of 2018 Basic Payment Scheme Application Process

Minister Creed has today announced the early opening for the 2018 Basic Payment Scheme Application Process. This is the first year that the application must be done online and the early opening facilitates farmers who may be using the online system for the first time. Farmers are urged to apply well in advance of the May 15th closing date.

The Minister commented “I am delighted to announce that the online application system for applications for the 2018 BPS is now open.  In the coming days, farmers will be receiving a BPS information pack in the post containing terms and conditions of the scheme as well as land details.”
