The third IOFGA Field Talk event for 2017 is on Wednesday 21st of June at 2pm on the farm of Batt Sheehan close to Fermoy, Co. Cork. The focus on this farm is organic dairy production, grassland management and breeding dairy replacements.

DIRECTIONS TO BATT SHEEHAN
In Fermoy, Co. Cork take the Tallow Road which is the R639/N72. After approximately 5 miles on that road you will see McDonnell’s Grainstore on the right hand side. Take a right there, continue until you reach a T junction and take the left for Conna. Continue into the village of Conna, you will cross over a bridge and then take a left and drive through the village. On the edge of the village you will pass the graveyard on your right, take the next right signed for Ballynoe. Stay on that road it goes uphill, you will come to a crossroads take a right turn stay on that road following it downhill. You will see a turn to the left and the Ballynoe National School take that left. Approximately 1 mile on you will see the farm yard on the left hand side.
