Draft National Action Plan on Green Public Procurement

The Draft National Action Plan on Green Public Procurement is posted on the Department of the Environment’s website. They are requesting public submissions on the document before July 8th. Green Public Procurement offers excellent opportuninties for the organic sector and has the potential to greatly expand the market domestically. IOA are encouraging people to make a submission to include a set target for organic food all on public procurement contracts.
